Every day in the Lloyds Banking Group employees rely on ACCORD for help, advice and support on a huge range of issues.

This work is carried out by Accord’s staff and by the HBOS employees who seek election at local, regional, business and national levels to support their colleagues.

Most HBOS workplaces have an elected ACCORD representative will draw on their experience and the resources at Union Headquarters to:

  • be there when you need someone on your side
  • offer advice and support
  • represent your grievance to those in authority on your behalf

Job Security Issues

Since HBOS was taken over and the Lloyds Banking Group created in January 2009, the Union has been heavily involved in providing support and help to members on job security issues.

Supporting individual members
