17th March 2010 - Pay 2010 – ACAS Talks Fail
As reported in the 10th March members’ update, Accord and Unite asked the Bank to have further talks at the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) following members’ rejection of the Bank’s pay proposals for 2010.
Exhaustive talks took place in London yesterday (Tuesday). The unions made every endeavour to get an improved offer from the Bank but, despite the involvement of ACAS, we are sorry to report that we are no further forward.
