9th July 2009 - Accord comment on Lloyds Banking Group announcements 09/7/09

There have been some further restructuring announcements made by the Lloyds Banking Group this week. 

  • On Monday, 6th July the new operating model for Group HR was announced. 47 roles will be cut as a result of the changes. 
  • On Thursday, 9th July changes were announced to the Business Banking Manger role in HBOS. This is to be replaced by a new role of Local Business Manager and 44 jobs will be cut in the network and the Edinburgh Sales centre. 
  • Changes have also been announced relating to PA roles with some 31 jobs disappearing from future structures. 

In total, 184 Accord members are in scope for the changes which will result in the loss of 122 roles.
